The children’s book “Milo & Mini – The Chase After the Environmental Thief” is a read-aloud story intended for children aged 6 to 9. The book is written and illustrated by Erika Alm, with playful illustrations designed to engage young readers in environmental issues.
In this book, we meet Milo, who discovers that something isn’t right in the forest and that the animals are struggling against a mysterious environment thief. The thief is littering everywhere in the forest. Together, the animals gather at the great Climate Meeting to come up with a solution. But what can they do to help the environment — and will they be able to find the thief?
How to help the environment (before bedtime!)
The main purpose of the book is to raise children’s awareness and interest in the environment without contributing to “climate anxiety,” while also offering an exciting adventure. The book is sponsored by Summa Foundation with the aim to spread awareness through collaboration and education. By doing so, the hope is to support the next generation of future entrepreneurs and the children’s right to a sustainable future.
