Key developments in 2021
The myneva group was formed in 2017 in Hamburg around a merger of the Regas Group, Heimbas and Daarwin, and the subsequent acquisition of six established and independent software specialists. Since then, the company has experienced double-digit growth, having completed further add-on acquisitions and seen consistent revenue growth, including a high percentage of recurring revenues, continuous account growth and numerous new client wins. The company now operates in six countries across Europe, with 220 employees, and around 2,000 customers.
The challenges we face
The population demographics are continuing to skew older across the globe. In Europe, the proportion of people aged 80+ is expected to reach 13% in the year 2070, up from 4.9% in 2016. This is also expected to bring about a 70% increase in the share of EU GDP spent on long-term care between 2016 – 2070. The increasing expenditure will only further exacerbate the pressure on the quality of long-term care which is a critical factor in maintaining and improving the quality of life. Simultaneously other areas of social care provision, such as disability and youth care will continue to require investments. As an example, mental health disorders are predicted to be among the leading causes of disease burden globally by 2030.
What is the outcome
myneva offers software for social care providers and caregivers that allows them to spend less time and resources with administrative and organizational work and focus on improving care recipient quality of life and patient outcomes. The products also improve patient outcomes and patient handling through schedule optimization and ensuring the right medicine to the right patients at the right time.

myneva currently offers its solutions in six countries in Europe, benefitting social care provider organizations, caregivers, and care recipients and patients along with their families . Its solutions include admin, care documentation, billing, scheduling, home emergency call services, quality management, safe communication, and employee satisfaction monitoring. The solutions all contribute to improved speed, efficiency, security, and time management across the customer organizations. The benefits for care recipients and patients are better quality of care and more time and attention from caregivers.
How big is the effect, and does it last?
In 2020, myneva’s software was in use in over 2,000 care provider customers across six geographies in Europe. The software modules together cater for over 28 features which can be digitalized and processed through myneva.
If myneva didn’t exist…
Without myneva many of the admin and organizational topics would require manual input and processing which would eat into the time each caregiver can allocate to patients and also increase personnel expenses at their end customers, ultimately leading to more expensive and inefficient care provision for our society. Furthermore, solutions within e.g. quality control and safe communication also help minimize risks and potential health and safety issues.
